About author:
Hanka Sekulová (1964) comes from Bratislava, Slovakia. After graduating from the Faculty of Agronomy at the Agricultural University, she worked for several years at the Institute of Animal Physiology as a scientific intern in the discipline of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences. Since 2011 she began to fully concentrate on sustainable living in harmony with nature. Already several years she devotes to the natural systems, natural medicinal edible gardens and permaculture. She shares her knowledge and experience through advice, articles, books, workshops and courses. She promotes a healthy lifestyle free of chemical poisons, in harmony with nature. She applies her knowledge and experience in the family, which fully supports her in these activities. Hanka is married and has son Thomas (30) and daughter Miska (15). In her free time she devotes to healing plants, animals, horse riding, archery and her own development.
Since 2016 she regularly writes articles to the various external journals and have interviews in various magazines and radio broadcasts.
She is author of the books Darujme si zdravie z vlastnej záhrady (Donate the health from own garden to yourself) and Darujme si srdce z vlastnej záhrady (Donate the heart from own garden to yourself).
In the first book Darujme si zdravie z vlastnej záhrady (Donate the health from own garden to yourself) you will learn how to create a natural edible, healing, sustainable jungle from your garden with lots of animals by imitation of natural ecosystems and by using edible, medicinal and otherwise useful plants. In the book you will gradually find not only more detailed explanation of what it is a natural edible healing permaculture garden, but Hanka Sekulová will also show you her own unique garden with all its peculiarities.

In the second book, Darujme si srdce z vlastnej záhrady (Donate the heart from own garden to yourself), she focused more on the practical aspects of creating a natural garden. The book contains a number of guidelines and descriptions of the various garden structures. Author by mild engaging way records her own experiences with farming of decorative productive poultry and bees, and introduces another unconventional forms of cultivation of healing plants, fruits and vegetables and also offers a tasty and useful recipes for their processing. Both books are interwoven by own stories, experiences, practices and experience with creating a healthy coexistence with the natural garden. Of course there is a variety of healthy recipes and a description of the author's most popular plants.
